Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental treatments including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Utilize Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation, billing, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Ensure strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization methods to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all treatments performed, medical diagnoses, and patient interactions in accordance with medical terminology standards.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide innovative care solutions.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
