Scheduling Coordinator Dental Front Office
Job Description
As a administrative support, you will serve as a vital link between our patients and clinical team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients. You will play a crucial role in coordinating answer phones, verify insurance, daily calls, over the counter collections, scheduling, appointments, educating patients about treatment options, and assisting with administrative tasks to support the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist patients with warmth and empathy, addressing their concerns and inquiries. Schedule and coordinate appointments Provide detailed information to patients about their recommended treatment plans, including the nature of the procedures, expected outcomes, and associated costs. Collaborate closely with the dental specialists and clinical team to optimize patient scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow. Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financing options, helping them navigate the financial aspects of their treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records, including updating contact information and treatment plans. Process insurance claims and assist with billing inquiries. Verify dental insurances Manage the patient follow-up process, including appointment reminders and post-treatment care instructions. Ensure a clean and organized front desk area. Uphold strict patient confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols. Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in administrative role in the dental field is required . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in using computer systems and dental software. Knowledge of dental terminology, general, endodontic, and periodontal procedures is a plus. Positive attitude, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with care.
