Dental Hygienist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who shares our commitment to preventive care, patient education, and creating healthy smiles that last a lifetime. Our hygienists play an essential role in educating patients, identifying oral health concerns, and partnering with our doctors to provide comprehensive treatment.

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and periodontal charting. Provide adult and pediatric prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance. Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs. Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (where permitted and licensed). Perform oral cancer screenings and identify areas of concern. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, nutrition, and home care techniques. Assist in developing individualized periodontal treatment plans. Accurately document clinical findings and treatment provided. Collaborate with the dentist to identify restorative and periodontal treatment needs. Maintain strict OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC infection control standards. Foster lasting patient relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and compassionate care.

Qualifications Current Georgia Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Local anesthesia certification (preferred or required based on state regulations). CPR/BLS certification. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Strong clinical and periodontal assessment skills. Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates are encouraged to apply). Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software. Experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanners. Familiarity with evidence-based periodontal therapy and patient-centered treatment planning.
