We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Office Treatment Coordinator to join our team and help our practice grow.
Job Description: As a Dental Office Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our practice by managing patient treatment plans and ensuring a smooth patient experience from consultation to follow-up. You will also handle dental insurance matters, providing patients with accurate information and assisting them with their insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities Treatment Coordination: Communicate treatment plans to patients and explain procedures and benefits. Schedule appointments in coordination with dental practitioners. Ensure all patient inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
Insurance Coordination: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits. Assist patients with insurance claims and billing processes.
Patient Communication: Educate patients on available treatment options and financial arrangements. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction. Follow up with patients regarding treatment progress and post-treatment care.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Manage the treatment schedule and ensure efficient workflow within the office. Assist with front desk duties, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or in a similar role within a dental practice. Insurance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of dental insurance policies, claims processing, and benefit verification.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in dental office software (Dentrix preferred) Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
