Dental Hygienist

Duties

• Conduct oral health assessments and record patient histories accurately
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and overall oral hygiene practices
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and professionalism
• Provide postoperative instructions and reinforce treatment plans to ensure patient understanding
• Maintain strict infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Experience

• Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with certification to administer local anesthetic in accordance with state or regional regulations
• Proven experience in dental hygiene practice, preferably in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, procedures, and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and connect with diverse patient populations
• Ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly with the dental team
• Familiarity with dental software systems for charting and recordkeeping is preferred

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
