Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Dental Assistant to support the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, organizational, and customer service skills to ensure a seamless experience for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Supervise front desk operations, scheduling, and patient check-in/check-out processes.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and dental industry standards.
- Support training, and onboarding of new employees.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to enhance efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure high-quality patient service and satisfaction.
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Promote a welcoming and professional clinic atmosphere.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and dental industry standards.
- Monitor office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring proper stock levels.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution professionally.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix or is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with utilization management practices within a dental setting.
- Ability to lead staff effectively when required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Must be willing to work weekends.
Oral surgery, Endodontics, OSHA and HIPAA experience all required.
