Registered Dental Assistant

**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join and our team. The ideal candidate will support our dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality patient care while assisting in various dental procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about oral health and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties:**

• Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for procedures.

• Perform various dental assisting tasks, such as suctioning, preparing instruments, and sterilizing equipment.

• Operate 3D scanners and other dental technology as needed.

• Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary.

• Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist and hygienist.

• Provide support during endodontic procedures.

• Utilize Dentrixt software for patient scheduling and record-keeping.

• Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

• Assist with pediatric dental care, providing gentle and patient-friendly care.

• Maintain knowledge of general dentistry procedures and stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.

**Experience:**

• Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred.

• Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is an asset.

• Knowledge of vital signs and patient care is essential.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.

• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

• Experience with Dentrix software is a plus.

**Skills:**

• Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

• Ability to multitask.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
