Registered Dental Assistant

Job Overview Grimes Dental Group is seeking an experienced and hard-working Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. It is strongly recommended to have expanded functions. Responsibilities

• Ensure that dental equipment is cleaned and sterilized
• Take intraoral x-rays and photographs
• Put office supplies away and keep operatory stocked
• Help hygiene with new patient x-rays and probing when applicable
• Help front office with any down time
• Take thorough clinical notes during patient appointments

Qualifications

• Certification in Dental Assisting (expanded functions preferred)
• Proficiency in infection control protocols
• Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
• Familiarity with medical coding practices
• Experience with Open Dental software is a plus
• Understanding of medical imaging processes
• Strong adherence to HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be punctual and have great time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $24.50 per hour
