Certified Dental Assistant Our very large, and busy state of the art private practice dental office in Hudson, FL is looking for a full OR part-time patient-focused, team player, upbeat and energetic dental assistant to join our team! Candidates to be considered must have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a friendly/enthusiastic approach to providing skilled dental care. We offer competitive compensation packages with bonuses, HEALTH INSURANCE, paid holidays, 401K with up to 3% match, and paid vacation days start accumulating after 1 year of employment. Pay will be based upon experience.
WE ARE A DRUG & DRAMA FREE WORKPLACE.
Office Hours: Monday and Tuesday: 6:45am - 4pm Wednesday 7:45am-5pm Thursday 8:45am-6pm - Friday: 7am - 3pm
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Must have current FL EFDA or RDA
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of digital x-rays and imaging -- Dexis knowledge is a plus!
- Knowledge of dental software -- Dentrix knowledge is a plus!
- Must be efficient in temporary crown and bridges.
- Patient education and reviewing of treatment plans.
- Sterilization of instruments
- Setting up recall appointments
- Assist the doctor and other team members as needed
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for excellence and helping others
