Pediatric Dental Assistant

Job Title: Pediatric Dental Assistant Job Type: Part-time, possibly leading to full-time Location: Acworth, GA Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00 / hour (Dependent on experience)

Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, high-energy Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will help create a fun, stress-free, and kid-friendly dental experience. You will work closely with our dentists and hygienists to support young patients, making sure they feel safe and comfortable from the moment they sit in the chair. The ideal candidate has a patient-focused mindset and loves working with children.

Core Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance during pediatric preventive and restorative procedures. Welcome children warmly and guide them to treatment areas. Take high-quality digital x-rays on pediatric patients. Sterilize clinical instruments and set up treatment rooms. Apply sealants and perform coronal polishing. Educate young patients and parents on proper home oral hygiene. Document dental treatments accurately in patient charts.

Required Qualifications: Dental Assisting Certification from an accredited program. Active X-Ray certification. CPR and BLS certifications. Excellent communication skills to connect with children and parents. Preferred Qualifications Expanded Duties Certification (EDDA/EFDA).1+ years of experience in pediatric dentistry. Bilingual skills (English and Spanish). Software experience with Curve.
