Our office is looking for a full-time skilled dental assistant to add to our friendly team! We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and trustworthy person to help care for our patients. Our goal is to provide our patients with exceptional care and we are searching for an assistant that can foster a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients.
The Ideal candidate us: Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Efficient Positive attitude Experience with Primescan and iTero scanning Experience with Invisalign Prefer 2+ years of experience CPR certified Expanded duties preferred Spanish/bilingual preferred
Duties include: Manage the back office to support the assistants working with the two doctors Take dental x-rays, impressions, and assists in procedures as needed Handles overflow appointments Assists either doctor when needed Leads sterilization in the back Supports hygiene and front office when needed Stocks operatories Organize and maintain the back lab In charge of weekly & monthly duties for back office equipment maintenance Reviews daily & weekly schedules for proper set up and flow of appointments Maintain strict compliance with infection control protocols according to OSHA standards Review health history and assure completion/signatures of patient forms Document patient histories, treatment notes, and charting accurately in EHR Educate and guide patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and general dental health Communicate with the front office for seamless transition of treatment planning, scheduling, and patient flow
