Associate Dentist

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will work alongside our team of dental professionals to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. This is a part-time position with competitive compensation.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose dental conditions
- Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Utilize dental software systems such as Open dental for efficient record keeping and treatment planning
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and tools
- Proficient in infection control practices and sterilization techniques
- Ability to accurately record and maintain patient medical records
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
- Experience working in a dental office setting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations is a plus
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
