Associate Dentist

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will work alongside our team of dental professionals to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. This is a part-time position with competitive compensation.

Duties:

• Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals
• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose dental conditions
• Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients
• Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Utilize dental software systems such as Open dental for efficient record keeping and treatment planning

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and tools
• Proficient in infection control practices and sterilization techniques
• Ability to accurately record and maintain patient medical records
• Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
• Experience working in a dental office setting
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations is a plus
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
