Looking for an experienced dental assistant (4 yrs minimum experience) who is friendly, organized and is a team player for our small privately owned office. Excellent patient communication skills and a positive attitude are paramount to this practice. Fluent English is required. We have a total of 6 employees and a great female dentist. Our office is not insurance driven or high stress. Most of our employees have been with us many years. We respect each other and are a true team.
Monday-Thursday Position Days Needed: Mon-Wed (full days) and Thursday (6 hrs) 30-32 hrs per week Hours: Monday-Wednesday 7:35-5:30 and Thursdays 7:35-2:30/3pm
Requirements: • Expanded Functions Required • 4 Years Experience Required • Team Orientated is a MUST • Dental assisting certification (EFDA) and Radiology • Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix/ Asend/ Open Dental or other • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members • Like to talk with patients • Be able to effectively explain to patients why treatment is needed • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Be at the office by 7:35am
