Job Summary We are seeking a BILLINGUAL and detail-oriented EXPERIANCED Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team. Duties
Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing exceptional patient service at the front desk and over multi-line phone systems Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification using systems like Dentrix. Review patient medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness for treatment plans and billing purposes Explain treatment procedures, financial options, and care plans clearly to patients, ensuring they understand their benefits and responsibilities Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software such as Dentrix ; manage dental scheduling and patient intake processes Collect payments, perform medical collections when necessary, and manage accounts receivable using EMR. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information during documentation review and health information management Support administrative tasks such as filing medical records, managing office supplies, and handling clerical duties with proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing skills Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care plans and treatment progress Experience
Prior experience working in a dental clinic is highly preferred; clinic experience is a strong advantage Proven background in medical administrative support or front desk roles within healthcare settings Familiarity with dental terminology. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, is essential Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and 10-key typing for efficient data entry Excellent customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette for handling multi-line phone systems effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations better Knowledge of health information management standards including HIPAA compliance is required Office management skills including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, filing systems, and documentation review are vital for success in this role Experience:
