Duties

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, direct and indirect restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, removable prosth, and implant restorations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, review medical histories, and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Operate dental imaging equipment to obtain high-quality radiographs for diagnosis.
• Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.

Experience

• Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
• Ability to assess patients comprehensively through clinical examination and medical history review.
• Experience caring for geriatric patients
• Excellent communication skills to educate patients about treatment plans and oral health maintenance.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in general dentistry and related specialties.
