Dental Assistant

Company is open to assisting relocation to location or commutable distance.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental supplies and materials inventory
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using Epic software
- Assist with medical coding and documentation for insurance billing purposes
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus
- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
- Experience working with Epic or other electronic medical records systems is preferred
