Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional patient care and will possess a comprehensive understanding of various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in Pediatric dentistry, with an emphasis on patient assessment and treatment planning. The Dentist will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring the highest standards of dental care are met for all patients. Dentist will work Tue, Wed, Fri in Damascus and Thur at Frederick location.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to Preventive, Restorative, Sedation Dentistry.
- Provide high-quality patient care while ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the treatment process.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry setting to optimize patient flow and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Educate patients and Parents on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Manage pediatric patients with sensitivity and professionalism in a dental clinic environment.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active dental license for Maryland
- Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and communication.
- Experience or training in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in endodontics is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Preferred or Willing to obtain:
- In-office Sedation Certification
- Hospital or surgery center accreditation
Pay information: The daily base pay rate is based adjusted production or collection depending on type of employment.
