Endodontic Dental Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, experienced Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who is comfortable working in both the clinical and front office areas of a dental practice. The ideal candidate is confident with dental X-rays and imaging, familiar with TDO software, and able to provide excellent patient care while assisting with front desk responsibilities.
Clinical Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatment. Take digital dental X-rays, including intraoral radiographs. Take panoramic (Pano) X-rays. Take CBCT scans and understand proper patient positioning and imaging protocols. Follow proper radiation safety and infection-control procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Take and record patient information accurately. Provide patients with clear instructions and a welcoming experience. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with treatment coordination as needed. Front Desk Responsibilities Greet and check patients in and out. Answer phones and assist patients with questions. Schedule and confirm appointments. Verify patient information and insurance. Assist with treatment estimates, payments, and basic billing responsibilities. Maintain an organized schedule and communicate effectively with the clinical team. Help coordinate treatment plans and follow-up appointments. Provide professional and friendly customer service. Software & Technical Skills Experience using TDO dental software preferred. Comfortable learning and navigating digital dental imaging systems. Experience with digital X-ray, Pano, and CBCT equipment required. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Ability to learn practice-specific software and technology quickly. Qualifications Dental Assistant or RDA certification preferred. Previous dental assisting experience required. Front desk dental office experience preferred. Must be comfortable taking X-rays, Pano, and CBCT images. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced dental office. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Ideal Candidate
