Dental Hygienist
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist at Schwartz Dental Group . The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and patient care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of service. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing preventative care to our patients.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical histories and vital signs.
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Utilize dental software such as Fuse and Weave for patient records management.
- Assist in medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with clinic protocols.
Requirements
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
- Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Experience with patient care in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fuse software is an asset.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices.
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide compassionate care.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques is beneficial.
Schedule
- Monday 8am-2pm
- Tuesday 8am-4pm
- Wednesday 8am-2pm
- Thursday 8am-4pm EVERY OTHER WEEK
- Friday OFF
