Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics to promote oral health.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries with precision and aseptic technique.
• Utilize dental imaging technology such as X-rays to diagnose conditions accurately while maintaining infection control standards.
• Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to foster long-term health.

Requirements

• Valid state dental license with current DEA registration if applicable.
• Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on assessment and treatment planning for diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes is advantageous.
