Registered Dental Assistant

Our high paced, fun, state of the art pediatric dental offices are looking for a personable, energetic registered dental assistant to join our team!
Good communication with parents, children and team members is a must!
Duties of Registered Dental Assistant
*Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place *Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records *Perform routine dental cleanings and assist in the performance of more complicated surgical procedures chair side *Provide support to dentists, surgeons and staff as needed *Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health *Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment.
* Review and order inventory & supplies, maintain records
*Assist with maintaining clinical equipment
*Ability to train clinical staff & maintain records in reference to training
Minimum Qualifications:
*Successful completion of a dental assistant certification program *Coronal Polishing Certification *Sealant Certification *Radiograph Certification *Current CPR *Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments *Exceptional customer service skills *Knowledge of computer programs such as MS Office, Eaglesoft dental software
*Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Dental Assistant in pediatrics
*Minimum 2 years as a back office supervisor
