Join a Dental Team That Values Excellence

Tara Hills Dental is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or RDAEF who is confident clinically, genuinely enjoys patient care, and takes pride in being an important part of a high-performing dental team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced dental professional who wants more than simply "assisting." We are looking for someone who understands patient flow, anticipates the doctor's needs, takes ownership of the clinical environment, and helps create an exceptional experience from the moment the patient is seated through completion of treatment.

If you are dependable, highly organized, comfortable with modern dental technology, and enjoy working collaboratively with doctors, hygiene, and administrative team members, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

As an integral member of our clinical team, you will:

  • Provide confident four-handed chairside assistance during restorative, crown and bridge, veneers, prosthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, Invisalign, emergency procedures, and full mouth rehabilitation cases.
  • Anticipate the doctor's needs and maintain efficient clinical flow throughout the day
  • Take high-quality digital radiographs
  • Perform accurate intraoral digital scans - ITero
  • Fabricate well-fitting temporary crowns and bridges
  • Accurately chart existing conditions, treatment, and clinical information in the Dentrix practice management software
  • Review postoperative instructions and educate patients before and after treatment
  • Maintain clinical supplies and assist with inventory and ordering
  • Support the doctor and hygiene departments to keep patient care running efficiently and on schedule
  • Communicate proactively with the administrative team regarding treatment, scheduling, and patient needs
  • Help create a warm, professional, and exceptional experience for every patient

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Current California RDA or RDAEF license
  • 5+ years of dental assisting experience
  • Strong four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting skills
  • Experience with crown and bridge and prosthodontic procedures
  • Intraoral scanning experience
  • Experience fabricating temporary crowns/bridges
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to confidently manage multiple priorities in a busy clinical environment

Spanish-speaking is a plus, and not required.

The Person Who Will Thrive Here

We are looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, accountable, patient-focused, and proactive. You are comfortable taking ownership of your responsibilities rather than waiting to be directed throughout the day.

Our ideal team member communicates well, supports coworkers, accepts feedback, adapts to change, and looks for solutions when challenges arise. Most importantly, you take pride in delivering excellent dentistry and creating a positive experience for our patients.

Why Tara Hills Dental?

We offer an environment where experienced dental professionals can contribute their skills while continuing to grow.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive total compensation package based on experience and qualifications

Ready to Join Our Team?

If you are an experienced RDA or RDAEF in general and cosmetic dentistry looking for a long-term opportunity where your clinical skills, professionalism, and contribution to the team are valued, we would like to hear from you.
