Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing using magnification

• Take dental x-rays

• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral health care recommendations

• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and performing oral cancer screenings

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment

Experience:

• New Grads welcome to apply

• Proficiency in dental coding and billing procedures

• Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and equipment

• Strong patient assessment skills

• Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems (we use Dentrix Ascned)

• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy protocols

• Solid knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
