We are a private practice of several specialties including general, pediatric, endodontic, orthodontic, periodontic, and prosthodontics dentistry. We strive to make a positive impact in our patients’ lives. We are a friendly and established practice in the town of Concord with satellite offices in Newton and Acton. Qualities We Are Looking For: We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are eager to learn and have a positive attitude. Candidates must be detail oriented, dependable, have computer skills, take constructive feedback positively, and be respectful of co-workers and doctors.
Responsibilities and Duties: (We will train you!)
- Greet patients and prepare them accordingly to specific procedures.
- Take phone calls according to script, and triage properly.
- Update and maintain client’s dental records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Take billing and insurance details from patients
- Take impressions with both alginate and PVS material; use intraoral scanner (iTero); expose x-rays as well as take extraoral and intraoral pictures.
- Chairside assisting for different dental procedures.
- Educate patients on basic oral hygiene instructions and post- operative instructions regarding dental appliances.
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
- Maintain compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA.
- Perform other chores as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Possess required MA certifications and licenses. (CPR, MA Dental Assisting License, and Dental Radiology)
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology and basic dental procedures
- Able to work with both children and adults.
