Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists chairside during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols
  • Take and develop dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, maintaining clinical confidentiality policies
  • Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient care
  • Provide patient management support by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to healthcare infection prevention standards and aseptic techniques

Experience

  • 1 Year minimum. Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred .
  • Proficiency with dental software such as Open dental is ideal but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy related to oral health
  • Hands-on experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and dental instrument processing
  • Familiarity with dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools
  • Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control policies
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics

Pay: $25.56 - $30.78 per hour
