Pediatric Dental Assistant – Part-Time
Chompers Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.
We are a pediatric dental office that places a strong emphasis on excellent customer service, high-quality patient care, efficiency, and attention to detail. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and families and takes pride in providing an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, examinations, cleanings, and treatment
- Help children feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout their visit
- Take high-quality digital dental X-rays
- Accurately document and maintain patient information in the electronic health record
- Follow proper infection control and sterilization protocols
- Clean, disinfect, set up, and turn over treatment rooms efficiently
- Prepare instruments and materials needed for procedures
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked clinical environment
- Communicate and coordinate with the front desk and other team members to keep patient flow efficient and the office running on time
- Anticipate the dentist’s and patient’s needs and provide attentive chairside support throughout the appointment
Qualifications
- Previous pediatric dental assisting experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable and confident working with children of different ages and personalities
- Friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic demeanor
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Coachable and receptive to constructive feedback
- Willingness to learn and continually improve
- Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, including the ability to comfortably communicate dental terminology and treatment instructions with Spanish-speaking families
- Experience taking digital dental X-rays preferred
Schedule
This is initially a part-time position, approximately 1–3 days per week, with the potential to expand into a full-time position as the practice continues to grow.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
