Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced dental technology.
  • Diagnose dental issues such as cavities, periodontal disease, endodontic problems, and oral pathology with precision and clarity.
  • Perform a wide range of treatments including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control procedures in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions using clear dental terminology.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and document all treatments in compliance with healthcare diagnosis standards and medical documentation protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure as an Associate Dentist with current licensing credentials.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant procedures.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control practices, and dental fabrication processes.
  • Ability to perform routine dental extractions, anterior root canal therapy, and other procedures confidently.
  • Excellent patient communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental clinic environment while maintaining high standards of quality care.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
