We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Office Manager / Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing dental practice. We are seeking someone who takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience while keeping the front office running smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a confident, dependable team player with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Previous dental office experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm, professional manner
- Manage daily front desk operations and office flow
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage communications
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance claims
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients
- Process payments, maintain patient accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with specialists and dental laboratories as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Manage recalls and patient reactivation
- Assist with collections and accounts receivable
- Help coordinate and support the dental team
- Oversee office organization, supplies, and day-to-day administrative needs
- Help maintain a positive, welcoming, and professional office environment
Qualifications
- Previous dental front desk or dental office management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable discussing treatment and financial arrangements with patients
- Professional, personable, and compassionate
- Able to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
