We are seeking a Highly Enthusiastic and Skilled Lead Dental Assistant to join our Fun, Caring, Advanced, and Growing Dental family. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily clinical operations, support the entire clinical dental team with advanced assisting techniques, and ensure exceptional patient care. Your leadership will help foster a smooth, efficient, safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. This position will directly report to the Clinical Manager and/or Owner Doctor. This will be a challenging but rewarding position.

Responsibilities

  • Timely and reliable presence.
  • Lead and coordinate dental assisting activities, ensuring adherence to clinical confidentiality policies and infection prevention management protocols.
  • Timely Management of the Inventories and Equipment Maintenance to Ensure Smooth Clinical Operations with Records Keeping
  • Monitoring Lab, Pathology, Radiology orders
  • Negotiating, Ordering, Verifying, and reconciling Invoices.
  • Assist Doctors during a wide range of procedures including Oral surgery, IV Sedation, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, General and Pediatric dentistry with four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • *Manage patient flow *efficiently using patient management software, ensuring accurate medical documentation and records are maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment such as dental x-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other dental equipment.
  • Take dental x-rays, CT scans, 3D scans while practicing proper aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and optimal image quality.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures clearly using dental terminology, and addressing patient questions or concerns professionally.
  • Oversee the performance and training and mentoring of junior staff and dental assistants to uphold high standards of clinical excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • STRONG COMMUNICATION with the Clinical and Front Teams
  • MULTITASKING
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a strong background in clinical procedures, dental instrument processing, and infection control practices.
  • Proficiency with dental management systems such as CURVE, or similar patient management software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and medical documentation standards.
  • Familiarity with dental sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection prevention protocols.
  • Ability to *operate and maintain *dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, CT Scans, Dental Milling machines, and other advanced imaging tools confidently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in radiography or X-ray technology is required and Basic Life Support is preferred; additional certifications in oral surgery are a plus.

More Benefits

There will be on site training. For high performing candidates, off site paid training may be available.

This position is available in both Salary and Hourly structures.

*Salary *will be paid at a higher rate and more benefits and are expected to work around 50 hours per week on average. *Hourly *structure pays at a lesser amount and fewer benefits and average around 40 hour per week. In addition to other benefits, *performance bonuses *are available for both.

After probationary period, Salary will receive 2 weeks PTO and 6 holidays. After completion of the 4the year, Salary will receive 3 weeks PTO. Hourly will receive, after such probationary period, 1 week PTO and 6 holidays. Additional Bonuses/PTOs may be considered based on performance.

Sigin-on bonuses and moving allocations may be considered based on qualifications and performance.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 – 50.0 per week
