Full-Time Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dependable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. We are seeking someone who is comfortable working in a busy dental environment, provides excellent patient care, and works well as part of a team.

Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during exams and treatment procedures using four-handed dentistry
• Prepare and turn over operatories before and after appointments
• Take diagnostic dental radiographs
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Assist with restorative, endodontic, surgical, and other dental procedures
• Educate patients regarding treatment and oral hygiene
• Accurately document patient information and treatment in Open Dental
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supplies throughout the operatories and lab
• Monitor instruments, materials, and clinical supplies
• Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Provide patients with a professional, comfortable, and positive experience

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Spanish-speaking required
• Proficiency in four-handed dentistry and aseptic technique
• Comfortable taking dental X-rays
• Experience assisting with endodontic procedures and surgical extractions preferred
• Familiarity with Open Dental is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
