Job Description

We are a growing Multi-specialty office looking for an experienced Pediatric and General dental assistant. In addition we are looking for someone who loves being in the Dental field and has a warm attitude. If this is you, contact us. We will be excited to meet you!

Days Available: Part time (2-4days) Flexible Days and Hours, we are open 7 days a week.

Compensation for Dental Assistant: Starting Base: $20-$22 Based on Skill set and Experience Monthly Profit sharing - can increase to $25

Requirements: 1+ years of Dental assisting Experience 4 handed dentistry High Level of Customer Service and attention to detail Plus (Not a Requirement however increase in compensation) Ortho assisting Digital Scanning - Itero Nitrous oxide Fabrication of Temporaries and Trays Spanish speaking

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
  • Assist with pediatric dental procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
  • Code and submit insurance claims using medical coding systems such as CAD and Epic

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficient in using dental software for medical documentation purposes
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Familiarity with medical coding systems
