Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice.

This is first and foremost a Dental Assistant position. We are looking for someone with a genuine dental background who is comfortable working chairside and understands the clinical flow of a dental office. The ideal candidate is confident assisting the doctor

*What You’ll Do *

• Assist the dentist with general, cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, and surgical procedures
• Provide excellent 4-handed chairside assisting
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
• Take and process digital/intraoral X-rays
• Assist with Invisalign scans and restorative/cosmetic cases
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide appropriate postoperative/oral hygiene instructions
• Maintain excellent infection control and sterilization protocols
• Set up and break down operatories efficiently
• Assist with laboratory procedures, impressions, models, and case organization Monitor and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and clinical supplies
• Help maintain inventory and keep clinical areas organized
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients throughout their visit
• Cross-train in select front-office responsibilities when needed, including patient communication, scheduling, and basic administrative support

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, instruments, and clinical procedures
• Comfortable assisting with multiple types of dental procedures
• Knowledge of proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment
• Professional, dependable, organized, and team-oriented
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Preferred

• Experience with Open Dental
• Experience with Invisalign or digital scanning
• Experience assisting with cosmetic dentistry
• Expanded-function or additional dental assisting certifications are a plus
