Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing quality oral healthcare services to our patients.
Duties
- Assist dentists during procedures in various specialties including Endodontics
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Take and develop dental x-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions
- Provide patient care and support during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using software such as Dentrix
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain aseptic techniques
- Perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs
Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic is preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
- Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
