We are seeking a dedicated, friendly, and reliable Traveling Dental Assistant to join our growing periodontal specialty practice. In this role, you will support our Periodontist in providing exceptional patient care, assisting with surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
This position requires travel between multiple locations, Parker, Highlands Ranch, Denver, Lakewood, and as far north as Cheyenne, WY along with the Periodontist.
Mileage and approved travel expenses will be compensated.
Candidates must have a reliable mode of transportation and the ability to commute as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Periodontist with periodontal surgeries, implant placement, and maintenance procedures • Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photos • Maintain a clean, organized operatory and sterilization area • Review medical histories and prepare patients for treatment • Provide post-operative instructions and patient education • Document treatments accurately in patient charts • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed • Travel between assigned practice locations to support patient care
