Orthodontic Dental Assistant

About the Role Forrest Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team.

What You'll Do • Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist • Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets • Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data and transcribes doctor notes • Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist • Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow • Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications • Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring • Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols • Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events • Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols
