Dental Assistant

Our privately owned office is seeking a part time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our general and cosmetic dental practice. We are a modern practice, utilizing high tech equipment and a comprehensive approach to dentistry and oral health. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about dentistry and giving excellent patient care. A team player spirit and professional demeanor is required.

Schedule: Tues-Thurs, 1-2 Fridays per month 7:30 AM–5:30 PM Tues- Thurs assisting with general dentistry procedures and Fridays assisting our periodontist Location: The Woodlands, TX Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience

Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and set up treatment rooms for dental procedures - Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures

• Taking dental X-rays as well as intra-oral and retracted photos
• Intra-oral scans using iTero
• Correspondence with lab
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice
• Ensure proper infection control and maintain overall cleanliness and organization of ops - Educate patients on post-operative care - Maintain patient records and charting correctly - Ensure compliance with dental office regulations Required Qualifications: - Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas - Certification in radiography and CPR - Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and office equipment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work efficiently - Strong attention to detail
• Open to learning and taking direction -Willing to assist surgical procedures such as extractions, implant placement, sinus lifts, hard and soft tissue grafting Experience: - 3+ years of experience as an RDA in a clinical setting
