Dental Assistant

Our practice is growing and currently looking for full-time dental assistants to add to our general dentistry and orthodontics team in Katy, Texas. Previous experience is desirable, but not a deal-breaker for applicants who possess a great attitude and a hunger to learn.

Qualifications:

• A valid RDA license
• A current CPR certification
• An active X-ray License
• OSHA & HIPPA compliant
• Open Dental Experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist and specialists during surgical procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental x-rays as well as Intraoral scanning
• Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, pre-operative, and post-operative care
• Perform dental charting and update patient medical records

Schedule:

• Our office is generally open Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
• We take a one-hour lunch break, typically between 12 – 1 PM
• We occasionally work Saturdays (about once a month), but these are optional
