Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to our dental team, ensuring a positive patient experience, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our office. You will assist in various clinical duties, maintaining high standards of patient care and comfort. Looking for a Full Time Assistant working with a team of 3 other assistants supporting 2 providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Sterilize dental instruments and ensure proper infection control
- Prepare dental materials, impressions, and models
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain patient records and charting in accordance with office protocols
- Manage and organize inventory of dental supplies
- Ensure smooth patient flow and assist with patient scheduling
- Ensure compliance with dental and medical office regulations
Qualifications:
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas
- Certification in radiography and CPR
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and office equipment - particularly on Invisalign
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with dental software (Eaglesoft) a plus
Experience
- 2+ years of experience as an RDA in a clinical setting
