Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to our dental team, ensuring a positive patient experience, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our office. You will assist in various clinical duties, maintaining high standards of patient care and comfort. Looking for a Full Time Assistant working with a team of 3 other assistants supporting 2 providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Sterilize dental instruments and ensure proper infection control
• Prepare dental materials, impressions, and models
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
• Maintain patient records and charting in accordance with office protocols
• Manage and organize inventory of dental supplies
• Ensure smooth patient flow and assist with patient scheduling
• Ensure compliance with dental and medical office regulations

Qualifications:

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Texas
• Certification in radiography and CPR
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and office equipment - particularly on Invisalign
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with dental software (Eaglesoft) a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as an RDA in a clinical setting
