Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our General Dental Private Practice team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready. Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a safe environment for patients. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions, X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Requirements: Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience in the field is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members. Previous experience in assisting roles is a plus. Commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time Monday - Thursday 7:45am to 5pm +/- and Fridays 7:45am to 12pm +/-
