We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our small, private fee-for-service dental office. Our practice focuses on providing high-quality care in a comfortable and friendly environment, with services spanning general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and more. For the right candidate, this full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with a single doctor, fostering meaningful patient relationships and ensuring optimal oral health.
A Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) plays a key role in supporting dentists and ensuring patients receive safe, efficient care.
𦷠Clinical Duties
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
Assisting the dentist during procedures (four-handed dentistry)
Passing instruments and materials during treatments
Suctioning and maintaining a clear field of operation
Taking and developing dental X-rays (with proper certification)
Taking impressions for study models
š§¼ Infection Control & Safety
Sterilizing instruments and maintaining autoclaves
Disinfecting operatories between patients
Following OSHA and infection control guidelines
Maintaining patient records and documenting procedures
š Administrative Duties
Scheduling patient appointments
Updating patient charts and dental records
Patient communication and follow-ups
Inventory management and ordering supplies

Greeting and preparing patients for treatment
Explaining procedures and post-op instructions
Providing oral hygiene education
Monitoring patient comfort during procedures
š« Certification & Licensing
Graduate from an accredited dental assisting program
Pass state
Maintain CPR certification
Complete continuing education
Our office operates Monday to Wednesday from 8 AM to 6 PM, with two Thursdays a month following the same hours, ensuring a consistent and structured work schedule. We value our teamās well-being and offer a one-hour lunch break to recharge and refocus for the afternoon.
Safety and Protection: Your safety and health are our priority. We provide comprehensive personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, latex gloves, N95 masks, and regular masks, to ensure a safe working environment for both our staff and our patients.
