FRONT DESK OFFICE COORDINATOR
POSITION PURPOSE
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Front Desk Office Coordinator to join us at NTFOS- Flower Mound. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Patient Interaction & Phone Support: Professionally answer and manage multiple incoming phone calls, assist patients with questions, schedule appointments, and create patient accounts.

Referral Coordination: Contact referred patients promptly to assist with scheduling appointments and follow up on referrals to help ensure patients receive timely care.

Referring Office Communication: Communicate with referring offices regarding patient referrals, appointments, records, and other information needed to coordinate patient care.

Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, maintain accurate appointment information, and assist with follow-up when patients need to be rescheduled or contacted.

Chart Preparation: Prepare and review patient charts prior to scheduled appointments to ensure patient registration is complete and required referrals, X-rays, and supporting records are received and on file.

Insurance Verification: Assist with verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits and ensure necessary insurance information is obtained prior to appointments.

Administrative Support: Check patients in, post payments, maintain accurate patient information, and assist with additional front-office responsibilities.

Surgery Coordination: Assist with scheduling surgeries and ensure necessary information and preparations are completed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to provide an efficient and seamless patient experience while supporting the daily needs of the practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Strong Phone Skills: Comfortable managing multiple incoming calls while maintaining professional, friendly, and effective communication.

Educational Background: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.

Experience Preferred: Previous oral surgery, dental, medical, patient scheduling, referral coordination, or insurance verification experience is preferred.

Administrative Skills: Proven administrative experience with a track record of growth or improvement within previous positions.

Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, follow through on tasks, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.

Customer Service Expertise: Experienced with customer service techniques and committed to providing a superior patient experience.

Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, referring offices, and team members.
