Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist/Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Dental Hygienist:

Proficiencies:
scaling and root planning Proficient in the treatment of all levels of periodontal conditions Placing antimicrobial medicament such as Arestin Effective in oral hygiene instruction delivery and treatment recommendation Laser currettage ( Laser Bacterial Reduction )

Dental Assistant
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately.
- Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix , ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices.
- Support front office operations by performing duties such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation.
- Maintain infection control protocols and aseptic techniques throughout the clinic.
Skills
- Proficient in using EMR systems, particularly Dentrix .
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures related to general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics.
- Experience with chairside assisting techniques and four-handed dentistry.
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies .
- Ability to perform vital signs monitoring and understand medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental clinic setting.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
