Endodontic Dental Assistant

About the Role Decatur & Midtown office needs experienced dental assistant. Join our innovative endodontic practice dedicated exclusively to microscopic & microsurgical root canal treatments. Seeking a skilled, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and patient-focused dental assistant with an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and a team-player mindset to become a valued member of our close-knit team.

Position Details • Schedule: Full-time, 4 days per week (10 hours/day). Flexibility is required, as office hours may fluctuate, with occasional late days. • Location: Decatur & Midtown, GA.

Key Responsibilities • Provide chairside assistance during endodontic procedures, including root canals and microsurgical treatments. • Take high-quality x-rays (x-ray certification required). • Maintain a clean and organized operatory and sterilization area. • Ensure patient comfort and provide clear instructions for pre- and post-procedure care. • Utilize practice management software in our paperless, digital office (computer proficiency is essential).

Requirements • Minimum 1 year of verifiable dental assisting experience (endodontic experience preferred but not required). • Certified in taking dental x-rays. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to patient care. • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
