Surgical Dental Assistant

About the Role Nice opportunity to begin or advance your career in surgical assisting in oral & maxillofacial surgery. Our patients are very grateful to have their smiles and faces improved or rebuilt, as such most of our assistants find this job very satisfying and rewarding.
We have a helpful and pleasant team of about 8-9 assistants. You would be cross trained to assist in surgery, scan patients with scanners, assist in anesthesia, recover patients, assist in consults, and take turns setting up trays and instruments. If you are eager to learn and advance, we can train you to become a top-notch assistant. Your co-workers are dental assistants, surgical technicians, registered nurses, lab technicians, and others.
Our practice focuses on dental implant reconstructions, orthognathic surgery (re-positioning facial bones for esthetics and function), and other oral surgery procedures – such as removing wisdom teeth. We have a newly opened office in Brookhaven and have been in Alpharetta for many years. We are looking for someone in each location. If you live closer to one location, you will have the choice to make it your home base.
Our offices are modern and up to date. We all take pride in our jobs and work together as a team. If you feel you have a pleasant personality and are eager to learn please check us out and contact us. Our hours are Monday-Friday, usually leaving mid-afternoon on Fridays.
