About the Role Join a growing, patient-focused dental practice in Fresno, TX where your experience and skills will be valued. We are looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant who is dependable, organized, efficient, and works well as part of a team.

This is a hands-on chairside role working closely with the doctor and helping keep the day running smoothly. The right candidate should be comfortable in a busy general dentistry environment, anticipate the doctor’s needs, communicate well with patients, and take pride in providing excellent care.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience. Bilingual, Eaglesoft experience, Medicaid experience, and nitrous monitoring certification are all highly preferred.

What You'll Do • Assist the dentist chairside with general dentistry procedures, including restorative, crown and bridge, extractions, endodontic, pediatric, and emergency treatment. • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before each procedure and keep rooms turning efficiently throughout the day. • Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, impressions/scans, and other diagnostic records as needed. • Monitor patients during treatment, provide post-op instructions, and help create a comfortable, positive patient experience. • Maintain proper sterilization, infection-control, and OSHA standards, including instrument processing and operatory disinfection. • Work closely with the doctor and front office to keep patients moving on schedule, communicate treatment needs, and ensure charts and clinical information are complete.

What You'll Bring Required: • Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience • Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification • Strong chairside assisting skills in general dentistry • Reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a busy office • Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude Preferred: • Eaglesoft experience • Nitrous monitoring certification • Experience with digital X-rays and intraoral scanning • Experience assisting with crowns, bridges, extractions, endodontics, and pediatric procedures • Ability to anticipate the doctor’s needs and stay one step ahead during procedures • Strong room turnover and setup skills • Comfortable discussing post-op instructions and treatment with patients • Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed • Experience maintaining sterilization flow and instrument organization
