About the Role Work Schedule Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM–5:00 PM No Friday hours are currently scheduled.

Strong dental knowledge, Dentrix experience, insurance expertise, scheduling skills, and the ability to communicate treatment and financial information clearly are essential to success in this role.
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have strong dental knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience working with Dentrix and dental insurance.
This position is responsible for creating a welcoming patient experience while efficiently managing the front office, scheduling, treatment coordination, insurance processing, and patient accounts.
Key Responsibilities Welcome and greet patients in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
Check patients in and out while providing excellent customer service.
Manage the daily schedule, including scheduling treatment, hygiene appointments, new patients, and follow-up visits.
Coordinate the schedule to maximize productivity and maintain an efficient patient flow.
Discuss recommended treatment and financial options with patients in a clear and professional manner.
Help patients understand treatment plans, payment options, and financing arrangements.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of dental insurance, including eligibility, benefits, claims, pre-authorizations, estimates, and insurance processing.
Submit and follow up on insurance claims and assist with resolving outstanding insurance issues.
Manage patient collections, including collecting payments, following up on outstanding balances, and maintaining accurate patient account information.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in Dentrix.
Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, dental assistants, and other team members.
Protect patient confidentiality and follow all applicable office policies and regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service and help create a positive patient experience from the first phone call through completion of treatment.
Qualifications Previous dental front office experience required.
Strong working knowledge of Dentrix software.
Solid understanding of dental terminology and clinical procedures.
Knowledge and experience with dental insurance and claims processing.
Experience discussing treatment plans, financial options, and payment arrangements with patients.
Experience with patient collections and account management.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced dental office.
