Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental diagnosis techniques and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans.
• Execute complex dental treatments such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, oral surgery, and dental implants with precision and care.
• Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and medical imaging to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster trust and understanding.
• Collaborate with team members on pediatric dentistry cases, orthodontics, and other specialty procedures to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Skills

• Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis.
• Expertise in performing dental diagnosis, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Experience with dental fabrication techniques and dental imaging technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and medical records management within a busy dental clinic environment.
