General Dentist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional dental care and a commitment to improving the oral health of our patients. This role involves working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, and requires proficiency in various dental procedures and technologies. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral hygiene, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs while considering their medical history and preferences.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the clinic.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
• Experience in pediatrics is a plus for working with younger patients.
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques for prosthodontics is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage medical records accurately while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Strong attention to detail in clinical assessments and documentation processes.
• Proficient in using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management.
