General Dentist

Job Summary We are seeking a high producing Dentist dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. We are offering base pay plus commission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various dental conditions.
• Perform a range of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and oral surgeries.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all clinical settings.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with assistants, and administrative staff to provide optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, including the use of Epic software for patient management.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in dental terminology and practices related to infection control and dental fabrication.
• Strong skills in performing dental extractions and oral surgery procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
