Position Overview

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting our orthodontic team. You will assist with clinical procedures, provide patient education, and help ensure efficient daily operations in a welcoming and team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient treatment and procedures Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Place and remove orthodontic appliances under the direction of the orthodontist and in accordance with state regulations Take digital X-rays, impressions, scans, and orthodontic photographs Educate patients on orthodontic treatment, appliance care, and oral hygiene practices Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Document patient information and treatment progress accurately Support a positive, efficient, and patient-centered office experience What We Offer Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability benefits 401(k) plan Continuing education and professional development opportunities Modern office with advanced orthodontic technology Supportive team environment focused on growth and patient care Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic or dental assisting experience (with supporting documentation) Current X-ray Certification High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Commitment to providing excellent patient care
